Thursday Must-See-TV Lineup

Community: Underated. Quote: Community is one of the few reasons NBC hasn't gone out of business. Out of all the NBC drama in the past couple of years, it's appreciatiable that the network still insist on the high-quality while relatively low-rated comedies, one of the merits that have been ignored in rating-dominating network broadcasting. Community is just one example. Centre around a bunch of "losers" in a local community college, as signifed in itsChinese title 废柴联盟. the show is no short of humour, warmth, and touching moments, something quite unlike the obnoxious CBS sitcoms. 


30 Rock: SNL: Backstage. Critically acclaimed, the show struggles to win a proportionally decent viewership in its general audience. If you are a big fan of crappy, obnoxtious shows like TWO AND A HALF MEN, it's understandable that  you find 30 Rock pretentious and sucking, and you might as well hate SNL. The show has deep roots in SNL, and can been seen as a dramatic depiction of the SNL backstage. And of couse, one of the greatest things about the show is that it puts the lovely Tina Fey to the centre of comedy honor, and gives Alec Baldwin a boost of his career by winning both a bunch of Emmies and Golden Globes. 30 Rock deserves all the credit it receives.

The Office: Cold and harm. Its charaters are anyting but spectalar. Nothing fancy , but almost any white collar worker can find a connection here.  Idiotic boss, office romance, office politics, office bitch, office rat, you name it, we have it. 

Paks and Recreation: It's taking off. Amy Poehler's endeavour to achieve her SNL co-anchor, Tina Fey's success.  Its being produced by The Office team is both a blessing and a block. Luckily, the storyline is going stronger and stronger, the show is right in its track. Like all the other NBC Thursday comedies, Parks delivers a feeling of touching , warmth, and honesty.May it prosper in later seasons.


Heroes: Please don't insult my intelligence. All the magnificance of the 1st season has long gone, and the writers has brought the show into  a unresolvable equation. Now it's just a bunch of idiots with powers wandering around. Who kills the show? 

Dramas

Chuck & White Collar: Relaxing while enticing. Two action-comedies from NBC and its affiliated cablee network USA. Great storylines, creat acting, and...yeah, I like the rebomings and car-chasing. Judge all you want.

Commedies

The Big Bang Theory: Overrated.伪Geek文化包装下的恶俗情景喜剧，Standard CBS Style.

How I Met Your Mother: Awesome. 后Friends时代的sitcome最佳，剧情、表演、剪辑、台词都是出类拔萃的，但是怎会敌不过2.5 men?


2.5 Men:  Repulsive. 是不是没大脑的喜剧天生招人爱？猥琐、无聊，把你能想到的贬义词都用上吧。

Accidentally on Purpose: Mediocre.  毫无特点。一个关于某熟女被a boy toy knocked up的故事，要不是有HIMYM作lead-in, 恐怕收视要掉到CBS周三喜剧之下吧？下一季调往周三，前途黯淡啊。

The New Adventures of Old Christen: Hysteria.  Julia Louis-Dyfers的演出越来越夸张，角色从一个桃花运不旺的中年离异女人变成了一个十足的疯子。历史证明，凡是角色走向是这样，此剧即命不久矣。

Gary Unmarried: 男版Old Christen. 比Old Christen还烂几倍，如果CBS要在两剧中权衡，Gary胜算极低，即使Old Christen
已经第五季了。

Dramas

NCIS:LA:   No Way.   The Launch of this series demonstrate the exact reason why I hate CBS. How many spin-offs can you produce? How many criminal drama can be enough? You know, rattings are not everything.

The Good Wife: In the Top League of new dramas.




ABC


Ugly Betty: Cancelled. ABC快刀斩乱麻，甩掉了一个既不叫好又不叫座的包袱。希望NBC也痛下决心，砍掉Heroes吧。


Desperate Housewives: Suck it. 正急速韩剧化。大妈们更年期将至，so does the series. 越来越没诚意。

Lost: Final Season.ABC最爷们儿的戏。谜一样的电视剧。 我还欠着3季半没看。

American Idol: Just another reality show. 海选很无聊。真人秀很崩溃。Simon叔要想跟着Paula大姨私奔。

Lie to Me: Another House. House的心理学版，演剧情都是一个模板的。

Glee: <High School Musical> in TV. 等大家对歌舞片的新鲜劲过去了，看你还怎么红。





CW

Smallville: To The Prime. 科幻片里的异类，越到后面越精彩. 正在努力摆脱CW的狗血青春片路线，CK性格里面多了点黑色的成分，不再只是爨弱的好人，连原来非常annoying的Louis Lane也变得性感又招人爱了。这样下去第十一季都有希望。

90210: Speechless. CW的狗血青春剧。剧情像它的演员一样：有胸没脑。

Life Unexpectd: Unexpectedly..............Expexceptional. 温情却不滥情，小感人又小洗具，小破台终于拿出一件像样的作品了。




Cable and British


Entourage: Jeremy Piven's Show.  配角的光芒抢走猪脚太多，如果嫌无线台有语言限制，就来Entourage吧，十句台词里九句有脏字，过瘾啊。

Skins: Season4.   第四季开播，第二代的最终季。一群不靠谱英国青少年的淫乱史。
